Physiotherapy Tiers

Client choice is important. Pure Physio has three tiers of Physiotherapy pricing to represent excellence and experience. This enables clients to choose their practitioner based on affordability as well as expertise. Rest assured that even at the ‘Physiotherapy’ level you can expect a premium experience at Pure Physio.

Consultant Physiotherapist – Clinicians who are at the top of the tree. At Pure this includes Physiotherapists who have been awarded a Title by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (ie ‘Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist). On average our Consultant Physios have 20 years of clinical experience and are often requested for second opinions, or complex injury management. Their fees are the highest, representing the years of experience, their clinical excellence and additional duration of study.
Senior Physiotherapist – At Pure Physio our Senior Physiotherapists possess an average of 10 years clinical experience. They have completed a significant number of post university courses and professional development and are well placed to manage all but the most complex of cases.
Physiotherapist – As a premium service provider, Pure Physio does not employ new graduate physiotherapists. Even at our third tier, our clinicians have 5 or more years of clinical experience and have completed many hours of post university professional development. This is a point of difference from other practices. Under most cases our ‘Physiotherapy tier’ will have the required experience and expertise to assist you with your recovery. The fees charged at the Physiotherapy tier are the most affordable.

Private Health Insurance

HICAPS facilities are available in-clinic at Pure Physio to enable on the spot claims from participating private health insurance funds. This reduces your out of pocket costs at the time of payment.
Private health insurance funds either contribute a percentage of the appointment cost, or a fixed amount. This is determined by the fund and your policy level. Please contact your fund directly to understand your likely rebate towards your appointment charge.
Pure Physio works with all major private health funds and can provide on the spot claims via HICAPS, or an invoice for post appointment claiming if this is preferred.

WorkSafe and TAC Fees

Pure Physio offers a ‘no gap’ physiotherapy service for clients choosing to see our ‘Physiotherapist’ tier of practitioner. This ensures there are no additional charges
for clients and the appointment cost will be directly billed to Worksafe or TAC.
Please note, there will be a gap fee charged at the time of the appointment for clients who choose to see one of our ‘Senior Physiotherapists’ or ‘Consultant Physiotherapists’ under a WorkSafe or TAC plan. Please see our pricing table for more information.

Medicare Info

Medicare does not routinely pay for private physiotherapy or podiatry services.
In specialised circumstances, you may be eligible for up to 5 physiotherapy or podiatry services per year, partially funded by Medicare. This is via the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program and is coordinated by your GP.
